Most repairs are completed and shipped within 72 hours of authorization. Turnaround time may vary depending on condition and parts required.

I would like to send my Phaco Handpiece in for repair, what do I do next?

If you are a new customer, please fill out our “New Customer Form” and email it to us at cs@clearpointsurgical.com in order to set up a new account. Once customer set up have been completed, phaco handpieces, accompanied by your PO, can be sent to us anytime. You will receive and evaluation as proof of receipt and to keep for your records.

What types of phaco handpieces do you repair?

We repair a range of phaco handpieces used in cataract surgery, including models commonly found in ASCs and ophthalmology practices. Including: Alcon Centurion Ozil, Alcon Ozil, AMO Ellipse and Ellipse FX, Bausch & Lomb Stellaris, and other older models.

What does the complimentary evaluation include?

Each handpiece undergoes a comprehensive electrical and functional diagnostic evaluation. You will receive a clear repair estimate before any work begins.

What does the 6-month warranty cover?

Repairs are backed by a standard 6-month warranty covering materials and workmanship under normal clinical use. Warranty period starts the day the repaired handpiece is shipped from our facility. There is an option to purchase a twelve month warranty, please contact us at cs@clearpointsurgical.com to discuss.

How do I start a repair request?

Yes. Each repair includes a detailed service report outlining diagnostics, replaced components, and final performance verification.
